Be it a festive time or a relaxing weekend, wine becomes a companion in solitude or in a party. Many of us might have thought that preparing wine is difficult. But actually it is not. So are you ready to prepare wine? Let's start and discuss how to make wine.

First of all buy five gallons of grape juice.Do not open the lid and place it in a place where the temperature ranges from 20 degree Celsius to 30 degree Celsius. Keep the jar unopened for 45 days. If it is little warmer then the process is faster. After the 45 days period is over open the container. However you should be careful that the content is not shaken before opening.

Once you open the lid, slowly siphon out the content to gallon jugs. The gallon jugs should have screw lids. You may also like to use 2 liter bottles to store these. While siphoning take care that there matter is not stirred and the sediment slowly settles to the bottom of the jar.

You can keep it in another airtight container for thirty days before bottling it. If the juice is still murky it is better to keep it for longer before bottling. When you are keeping the juice airtight for the first time then look into it that the lid is properly closed. However if it is difficult after fermentation is over, to open the lid, you can take a knife and make a hole on the top of the lid before you do the siphoning of the wine.

When siphoning tie the siphoning tube to a wooden stand or a stick with the help of rubber bands. This way you can lower the stick when the level of wine goes down keeping one end of the siphoning tube inside the wine. So this is the easiest way to learn how to make wine. You can preserve the wine for future use or you may like to distribute this wine amongst your friends and near and dear ones. Now you can proudly announce that your first home made wine is ready to be consumed.
