Tottenham Hotspur My Dream My Life
by John Andrew Collins in 09.02.2010 03:30
Tottenham needs to try and overcome their usual slow starts. They are known for having a great 2nd half of the year, but only after their first half has knocked them out of true contention. If money was not an issue then rumours that swirl around Tottenham may actually come true. The great news from last year for Tottenham was that no team in the League allowed fewer goals. Only 10 goals were scored on Tottenham all season long and their defence should be just as stingy this year.
While rumors are still abundant about Huntelaar the team has already brought in the lanky Peter Crouch from Portsmouth. They also secured Kyle Naughton and a transfer and brought in Aaron Blackwood for free. Crouch will be leaned upon to pick up the slack that will be left by the loss of Didier Zokora.
Overall Tottenham will be gunning for a top 6 finish this year especially with the fact that they will not have to deal with a hard fixture list this year. The team should be able to grab a spot in the Europa Cup and there is an outside shot at a Wembley final appearance.
Can Tottenham come together and be a real threat for cups this year? Or will they take a step in the backwards direction? Tune into OleOleFootball for live Tottenham football all year long.
