Improperly inflated tires are a safety hazard!

Another “rule of thumb” demonstrates that tire wear increases by 30% when inflation is 20psi under target. It is not hard to understand that monitoring the tire pressure across a fleet of vehicles makes good sense and can lead to huge savings.

Maintaining constant good tire pressure will also lead to decreased maintenance costs, less roadside downtime, reduced damage to casings, better vehicle road handling with enhanced stability and braking and hence improved safety.
